Chemical peel and micro-needling

Chemical peel

Chemical peeling is a quite frequent procedure that is used for the treatment of photo aging skin, deep wrinkles and fine lines, acne scars and to improve the skin vitality, tonus and texture.

During this procedure there are used different acidic solutions (salicylic acid, lacitic acid, glycolic acid) on the skin in order to stimulate the skin exfoliation, depigmentation and revitalization through promotion of the glucosaminoglicans, fibroblasts and remodeling of the elastin and collagen fibers. This treatment is widely used today as an alternative of lasers or derma abrasions procedures.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that is used to encourage collagen production using small, sterilized needles. It may help smooth, firm, and tone skin and improve the appearance of scars, acne, and wrinkles.

Microneedling has gained popularity for its growing list of benefits. It is said to rejuvenate and plump the skin with minimal discomfort and very little downtime, and it can be adjusted to fit each person's needs.

After microneedling, your skin works fairly quickly to rejuvenate new tissue. In theory, you should see results within a couple of weeks. To maintain the results of your treatment, you'll need multiple sessions and perhaps other complementing treatments. The doctor will work with you to develop a plan of action based on your individual goals.
